This Friday night to be an exciting one as the Dave Kardas Band takes the stage at Iridium Jazz Club. Many greats Mike Stern, Larry Coryell, Alan Holdsworth, John Scofield, recently Vernon Reid and Zach Wylde.

On Friday April 23rd Dave Kardas and his band Dean Yalanis on Drums, Lobo on Keyboards and Mike Nunno on Bass will take the stage at Iridium Jazz Club. Many of my guitar idols Mike Stern, John Scofield and Allan Holdsworth have played at this world renowed club.

We are performing tonight at Stella Blues Bar New Haven. We are playing some of our originals along with some great jazz covers such as "So What". Check out Larry Carltons version on "Last Night".

 

Dave Kardas and his band recorded 8 tracks for his new CD "Fire and Ice" last week at Carriage Hill Studios in Stamford. Recording took about 2 days. Dean Yalanis provided the drums , Steve Clarke on Bass and Pat Marafiote and Lobo handled the keyboard parts. Everyone contributed greatly to this project. Carriage Hill has a nice sound and setup, very comfortable atmosphere to record in, and the engineers Brent and Michel where very helpful as well as John, the owner. Look  forward to the outcome after the mixdown.
